Short version: ZeroPlugs is free to use, and some links to paid plugins may earn us a small commission.

How we make money

• Affiliate links. Some "Or get the real thing", "Paid upgrade" and store links may be affiliate links. If you buy through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Pages that carry affiliate links say so near the top of the links. Affiliate links are marked rel="sponsored" for search engines.
• Featured placements and sponsorships. Plugin makers can pay for a clearly labelled "Featured" card or a newsletter sponsorship. These are always labelled.

What money never changes

• Which free alternatives we list, and the order we rank them in.
• What we say a free plugin is missing compared with the paid one.
• Prices: we only quote a price or discount after checking it on the live store, and we date it.

We follow the US FTC's guidance on endorsements: disclosures sit close to the links they cover, in plain words.
