Verdict
Stay free if you're mastering your own demos and releases and are happy to learn by ear. EQ, then limiter, then imager, checked against a LUFS meter, gets you loud and clean.
Pay for Ozone 12 if you want a fast starting point: Elements is the cheapest way to get the Master Assistant. Get Standard for Match EQ, referencing and the vintage modules. Get Advanced only if you need Stem EQ or Unlimiter to fix a finished mix.
